The deadline for turning in this form in 2022 is April 1st, 2022. Awardees will be posted on the STAGE-M Facebook Page and emailed by April 15th.
STAGE-M Senior Scholarship Award
Annually STAGE-M will award one scholarship to a graduating senior or deserving theatre student from one of the high schools in the Mecosta-Osceola Intermediate School District who plans future education either through college or training in the theatre arts, in the amount of $500 (five hundred dollars).
Any graduating senior may be nominated by a STAGE-M member, by an appropriate theatre person from the student’s high school or by an active member of a community theatre group that falls within the boundaries of the MOISD.
Applications must be returned to the Education Committee by April 1, 2022 and the scholarship recipient will be selected by the committee. Awardees will be posted on the STAGE-M Facebook Page and emailed by April 15th.The scholarship will be publicly awarded at the opening night performance of the STAGE-M summer show. The recipient can also be recognized at the appropriate high school Senior award ceremony whenever possible. There will be a press release announcing the award following the appropriate school ceremony. At the committee’s discretion the recipient may or may not be notified prior to the ceremony.
