STAGE-M awards one $500 scholarship annually to a graduating senior or deserving theatre student from one of the high schools in the Mecosta-Osceola Intermediate School District. The Senior Scholarship is for education in the theatre arts, either through college or training.

Any graduating senior may apply or be nominated by a STAGE-M member, by an appropriate theatre person from the student’s high school, or by an active member of a community theatre group that falls within the boundaries of the MOISD.

You must submit a letter of recommendation from someone who can speak to your participation in theatre.

Applications must be completed by April 14th, 2025.

Awardees will be posted on the STAGE-M Facebook Page and notified by email. The scholarship will be publicly awarded before the STAGE-M summer theatre camp. The recipient can also be recognized at the appropriate high school Senior award ceremony whenever possible. There will be a press release announcing the award following the appropriate school ceremony. At the committee’s discretion the recipient may or may not be notified prior to the ceremony.
